sunday scribblings -- #136 change

LIMITED ALTENATIVES - ADJUST, MIGRATE OR DIE

typhoon, hurricane, tornado, storm,
cyclone, tempest or squall
turn yer head
play dead
nothing will help you at all
ya still get wet!
alter, modify, vary, transform,
revolutinize, adjust or amend
fight all ya like
go fly a kite
it’s all the same in the end
ya still get reject!
thrust yer head in the sand, choke on dust
enjoy the warmth and dim light
don’t give a care
pretend unaware,
try with all of yer might
ya still needa know!
change is afoot, it’s all about
no place to go for escapes
jist feel that flow
jist lette self go
no need for a case of the vapes
ya can’t get away nohow!

Limited options for sure - they all add up to just about the same thing - change!

An enjoyable poem about inevitability!

Danni, the rhythm and rhymes in this one made it lots of fun to read... I'm looking forward to seeing more from you!

You got that right! And had some fun doing it, looks like! I sure had fun reading it. Reminds me of the saying You might as well laugh as cry. Why? Because all of life is so laughable with us little specks of dust getting blown every which-way on this windy planet amidst this bizarre game that we didn’t make up but aren’t really sure who or what did ;-)
